Description: I usually steer away from non-local builds. Most of the time I don't want to hassle with transferring money and shipping stuff. However a friend of mine that I used to play World of Warcraft with, asked if I could help him build a PC. His budget was in the $1100 range.

The computer features an Antec 900 Case that has a large 200mm fan up top, two front 120mm intakes and one 120mm exhaust fan. The 3d card used was a 9800GTX 512 MB (G92). For a hard drive I used a standard 7200RPM Seagate. A Samsung 20x burner was also installed. It is all powered by a 600W Silverstone Strider PSU that supported modular cabling.

This beast racked up a 14,000+ on my tweaked benchmarks with 3dmark06. Call of Duty 4 ran flawlessly at the highest setting. It also ran World of Warcraft at no lower than 56 frames per second in Shatt. with every graphic option tuned up. There was still a lot of overhead for OC'ing (possibly 3.8Ghz). After the build it was shipped to Chicago, Illinois.
